Just recently MINI wowed us with the Urbanaut, and now they’re extending their ongoing expansion of MINI electric car range with new offerings for the John Cooper Works brand. The quick power from an electric motor smacked on to a MINI can only mean fun!
The SE is the only other Mini electric car available in various markets, except the Middle East, and it has been quite popular. Though they do have the hybrid plug-in available in UAE and other markets. Now, MINI is preparing the next step in development of electric John Cooper Works models, we just hope they make their way here.
The current focus on the development of a MINI John Cooper Works Electric demonstrates just how important electric mobility is in terms of the brand’s future direction – the goal is a unique blend of sustainability, performance and passion. “John Cooper Works models with conventional combustion engines will still continue to have an important role to play, to make sure we’re addressing the wishes and needs of performance enthusiasts all around the world,” says Bernd Körber, Head of the MINI brand. “With this new focus on electric performance, we’re also creating the opportunity to sharpen the distinctive profile of the John Cooper Works brand more than ever before.”
Well, nothing more to update folks, we’ll just have to wait and see what their plan is for us in the Middle East. In the meantime watch the car in motion
