BMW Group have been making waves of announcements the last few days. We recently posted about their all-new BMW iDrive, and the new BMW iX xDrive 40 and xDrive50. Well, they’ve also just given us a first look of the upcoming BMW i4.
“With its sporty looks, best in class driving dynamics and zero local emissions, the BMW i4 is a true BMW. It makes the heart of the BMW brand now beat fully electric,” said Pieter Nota, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG responsible for Customer, Brands, Sales.
The Gan Coupé will hit the streets later this year, and it’s going to include BMW M Performance model… YES!
The BMW i4 model line will be available in different versions with a range of up to 590km (WLTP). With a power output of up to 530HP it can accelerate from zero to 100km/h in around 4 seconds. That just means the M Performance model will be superfast!
It was exactly one-year ago when we got to see the concept version, and I must say the production unit looks far better. For some reason, the front headlights in the production version look much better – more realistic.
Not sure if BMW made a mistake, but the concept showed off the new BMW badge, and in today’s reveal the badge is the same as the current one.
