Overview
The 2021 Audi e-tron Sportback is a beautiful piece of machinery, sticking to the pure German engineering values. Currently available in two models, the 55 Quattro (in UAE and Qatar only) and 50 Quattro (in Jordan only) and two trims; Advanced and S line. Audi does not re-invent the wheel here, sticking to what they know best, the e-tron Sportback does not even drastically look like an EV. As with any current EVs in the Middle East, it features on the higher end of pricing, however, it is priced better than competitors in its segment and you do get considerably more features. Motor and Performance

The e-tron Sportbacks come with an asynchronous electric motor that is fed with three-phase current by the power electronics on each axle. The 55 Quattro has an output of 265 kW and 561 Nm of torque, and it takes just 5.7 seconds in boost to attain 100 km/h. The top speed is electronically confined to 200 km/h. The 50 Quattro has an output of 230kW and 540Nm of torque, and 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds.
Battery and Charging

The battery system of the Audi e-tron Sportback 55 quattro stores 95 kWh of gross energy, and the 50 Quattro has 71 kWh. The battery system is exceptionally rigid and crash-proof, thanks to a solid protective frame and an aluminum laminate that holds the 36 cell modules. The high-voltage battery is charged by the electric motors, primarily by the rear electric motor, which acts as generators in these situations. The recuperation system provides for variable regulation of energy recuperation between both electric modules, both in coasting mode when the driver releases the right-hand pedal as well as during braking.
On long-distance routes, the Audi e-tron Sportback 55 quattro can charge with direct current (DC) at up to 150 kW at fast-charging stations. In just under half an hour, the battery reaches 80 percent of its capacity—sufficient for the next leg of its long-distance trip. The e-tron Sportback 50 quattro can charge at up to 120 kW and achieves an identical charge status in the same time.
Interior and Space
The interior of the Audi e-tron Sportback is an elegant lounge featuring a seamless blend of design and technology and has plentiful space for five people. A generous arc that spans the instrument panel, extending from door to door, harmoniously integrates the cover for the Audi 12.3-inch virtual cockpit. Its sleek display stands visually free in space. The wrap-around in the door trims also integrates the screens for the optional virtual exterior mirrors.
The space is quite decent for the Sportback, though the sloping roofline makes things a teeny bit smaller than the regular e-tron. The trunk is spacious at 605L capable of supporting all your everyday storage needs.
Features

The Audi Virtual Cockpit gives you good command of the vehicle, and the two flush mounted screens in the center console provide a fine experience to managing the infotainment and climate controls. Audi has a nifty shortcuts option that you can add to the lower screen.
Key safety features include: Standard forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking, Standard blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, and Standard lane-departure warning
